Kontoor Brands-owned denim brand Lee has partnered with Paul Smith to launch a global menswear capsule collection, featuring 14 limited-edition pieces.
Inspired by Paul Smith’s famous stripes, the capsule features exclusive prints and patterns on Lee’s 101 jeans, 101 Stormrider jackets, shirts, carpenter pants, Smith’s tapered trousers, graphic tees and hoodies.
“I used to sell Lee in my Nottingham shop in the 1970s and they were important to me when I was first starting out. Getting clothes over to the UK from the USA was much more difficult to do back then and it was always so exciting to have it in the shop,” said Smith.
The campaign features Smith’s friends – two musicians, a painter, a dancer, a stylist and a lawyer, with each outfit highlighting each person’s personality and lifestyle.
“Fans around the world have been waiting for this capsule since June’s initial announcement,” said Jenni Broyles, EVP and global brands president of Lee. “We can’t wait to see the momentum and excitement the launch generates for both brands.”
The collection is available from $90 to $450 on the two brands’ websites, in selected partner-owned stores and Nordstrom.
