Puma has signed a multi-year global partnership with McLaren Racing to express the ‘spirit of racing’ through sportswear, while expanding its motorsport presence.

The collaboration will see Puma create team kit and apparel by tapping into the full McLaren Racing portfolio, uniting the two sports giants’ performance and style through the launches of Replica and Lifestyle Collections.

Arthur Hoeld, CEO of Puma, said that with McLaren Racing as a new partner, the company is writing the next chapter of its long motorsport history in working with some of the “greatest drivers and teams in the industry” over the past decades.

“We are looking forward to many successful races together and engaging with the team’s passionate fans around the world to create inspiring collections for them that show the best both brands have to offer,” he said.

Designed around the papaya color worn by drivers and team members at the track, Puma tailors its Replica range for fans who desire to show up and stand out. Meanwhile, Lifestyle is built for those who embrace speed beyond race days, capturing McLaren Racing’s heritage in a contemporary design blend. Both collections are set to bring fans closer and become part of the team’s story.

“We know fans want to express their passion for our sport both at and away from track, and Puma’s innovative approach to design and culture will offer exciting collections and experiences worldwide,” said Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing.

The partnership pledges to deliver ‘the exhilaration of racing’ through more special events and releases, combining Puma’s sportswear innovation with the McLaren Racing team’s legacy. The first experience will debut at the opening race of the Formula 1 season in Australia.

The Puma x McLaren Racing Lifestyle Collection is now available globally, with the Replica Collection soon to follow on February 2 via websites, select Puma stores and retailers.
