Pet self-wash, grooming and natural food franchise Wag N’ Wash has launched its first corporate store in Michigan.

Last February, Wag N’ Wash was acquired by PSP Group – which is also the parent company of Pet Supplies Plus – and has since then doubled its store count to 25 locations with another 40 stores in various stages of development.

Chris Rowland, CEO of Pet Supplies Plus, said the brand is on a “positive trajectory” and has no intentions of slowing down.

“Pet Supplies Plus is a proven brand, and we’re proud to be backing Wag N’ Wash as it marches forward in its next era of success.”

The Wag N’ Wash team has converted the 4800sqft nail salon space into its newest prototype store with a design that captures the “spirit” of this emerging brand and the community it serves.

Located in Ann Arbor, the company says this new flagship serves as the “template” for all future stores and will celebrate its formal opening at the end of September with weekend discounts, event giveaways and free pet washes.
