Chinese lifestyle retailer Miniso has collaborated with CBL Properties to expand into a dozen additional markets in the US via CBL’s malls. 

The initial wave of store openings occurred in November of last year at Valley View Mall in Roanoke, Virginia, and Hanes Mall in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, followed by the January opening at Coastal Grand Mall in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. 

Stores will open throughout the rest of the year at places including CoolSprings Galleria (Nashville, TN), Hamilton Place (Chattanooga, TN), West County Centre and South County Centre (St. Louis, MO), and Parkway Place (Huntsville, AL). 

“Miniso is an innovative retailer catering to a generation of customers who over the last few years have shown a preference for shopping at malls,” said Stephen Lebovitz, CEO of CBL Properties. 

“These stores are becoming a destination for visitors to our properties and complement the dynamic mix of retailers, restaurants, and entertainment they already offer.”

In addition to Miniso, CBL is collaborating with other brands looking to increase their mall-based presence, including Five Below, Aerie, and Garage.
