Korean BBQ and hot pot restaurant Kpot has opened its 80th store in Manhattan’s Midtown West, marking its debut in New York City.
The all-you-can-eat restaurant concept offers a wide selection of meat, seafood, and vegetables, as well as various noodles and soy-based options. Guests can choose from eight soup bases, each with a different flavor profile according to their preference.
Margaret Farrell, head of marketing for Vertex Hospitality, the operator of Kpot, said that opening in New York aligns with the brand’s vision to bring people together through interactive dining.
“We can’t wait to see New Yorkers gathering around our grills, cooking up delicious meals and creating unforgettable moments and connections,” she added.
Kpot opened its first location in 2018, which expanded to three stores by the end of 2020. Last year, over 55 more locations were opened, and it has since grown to 80 sites.
