Danish fashion retailer Jack & Jones will enter the US market with five stores, beginning in November at The Mall in Columbia, Maryland.

The expansion follows the brand’s recent rollout in Canada.

“The US has always been an important and influential market for fashion,” said Anders Gam, brand director at Jack & Jones.

“We can’t wait to meet American consumers and share what Jack & Jones is all about.”

Founded in 1999, Jack & Jones has grown from a denim-focused menswear label into a global brand that also includes women’s apparel through its JJXX division. The company operates more than 4000 stores across 30 countries.

The stores are set to open at:

  • The Mall in Columbia, Columbia (November).
  • Natick Mall, Natick, Mass. (menswear only).
  • Staten Island Mall, Staten Island, New York.
  • Christiana Mall, Newark, Delaware.
  • Willowbrook, Wayne, New Jersey.

The latter four locations are scheduled to open next year.
