Furniture dot com has rolled out a redesigned platform that, it says, uses AI technology to simplify product discovery and improve cross-retailer comparisons.
The upgrade enables side-by-side product comparisons and conversational search, allowing shoppers to browse multiple retailers without switching websites.
Moreover, the platform introduces a single-cart, multi-retailer checkout, allowing customers to complete purchases across different stores in a single transaction. However, retailers are still responsible for their own fulfillment and delivery.
“Furniture shopping hasn’t evolved alongside consumer expectations,” said Dan Bennett, CMO at Furniture dot com.
“We’ve moved beyond aggregation to build decision infrastructure, helping people compare, decide, and check out with confidence, while enabling retailers to capture demand that would otherwise be lost to indecision or fragmentation.”
Retailers currently available for checkout on the platform include Rooms To Go, Raymour & Flanigan, Z Gallerie, Kathy Kuo Home, Annie Selke, BenchMade Modern, TOV, Rugs USA, Regina Andrew, Slumberland, Gardner White, Mathis Home, and Jerome’s.
“When confidence increases, action follows,” Bennett added. “Our role is to remove friction so buyers and retailers can meet with certainty.”
