Dana-co has acquired sleepwear label Lunya, expanding its portfolio of intimate apparel and lifestyle brands. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2014 by Ashley Merrill, Lunya is a premium sleepwear and loungewear brand best known for its washable silk pajamas and temperature-regulating fabrics.

As part of the acquisition, Lunya will relocate its operations from Santa Monica, California, to Dana-co’s New York headquarters.

The company will continue to operate through e-commerce and wholesale channels, following the closure of its physical stores.

Dana-co said it plans to build on Lunya’s existing brand equity while leveraging its product development, wholesale distribution, and direct-to-consumer expertise to support future growth.

“Lunya is a brand with a distinct point of view, strong consumer recognition, and tremendous growth potential,” said Zvi Ertel, president and CEO of Dana-co.

“As Dana-co celebrates 25 years in business, we are proud to welcome Lunya into our portfolio and support the next phase of the brand’s evolution.”

Founded in 2001, New York-based Dana-co designs, manufactures, and distributes intimate apparel, sleepwear, and lifestyle products. Its portfolio includes brands such as Natori, Skarlett Blue, and now, Lunya.
