LA-founded clothing brand True Religion has hired a new retail boss to lead it through the next stage of its growth, which will also see the addition of four new stores.
Former Skechers director of sales Kristen Jones joins as True Religion’s VP of retail. At the same time, the retailer’s new openings will take its US store count to 61.
Jones also worked at high-store-count retailers such as Target, Levi’s, and Ross Stores. True Religion says she’ll be responsible for continued store openings as the retailer eyes 150 locations in the country.
“I’m thrilled to be joining True Religion at such a dynamic point in the company’s journey,” Jones added. “True Religion is in a stage of growth with lots of whitespace opportunity ahead and I’m eager to continue driving our retail expansion forward and showcasing the magic of this iconic brand.”
The new stores will open in Indianapolis, Brandon, Sacramento, and Cherry Hill throughout the remainder of 2026.
“With Kristen joining the team, we’ve added a proven retail expert who will be instrumental in scaling our brick-and-mortar presence, and we look forward to bringing the True Religion experience to even more consumers,” said True Religion CEO Michael Buckley.
