Ulta Beauty and Target Corporation will conclude their shop-in-shop partnership when the existing agreement expires in August next year.

The collaboration, launched in 2021, brought Ulta Beauty’s curated assortment of prestige beauty brands into more than 500 Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com.

The companies said they are proud of the results the partnership delivered, including bringing new customers to both brands and enhancing the shopping experience with prestige beauty products in a mass retail setting.

“For 35 years, Ulta Beauty has revolutionized how people experience beauty – bringing together an unmatched assortment from mass to luxury – and our partnership with Target was one of many unique ways we have brought the power of beauty to guests nationwide,” said Amiee Bayer-Thomas, chief retail officer at Ulta Beauty.

She added that as the company continues to execute its ‘Ulta Beauty Unleashed’ strategy, it remains confident that its broad product assortment, in-store services, and guest experience will sustain its market leadership.

Target and Ulta confirmed that the existing Ulta Beauty at Target experience, including rewards program integration and access to select brands and services, will remain in place through the partnership’s end.

Last year, Ulta Beauty announced its partnership with K-Beauty World to bring products from more Korean cosmetics brands to its stores in the US.
