Target says it will reduce prices on more than 3000 products for the spring season, as the company seeks to appeal to increasingly value-conscious consumers.
The retailer said the price cuts, typically ranging between 5 per cent and 20 per cent, will apply to a wide selection of merchandise across apparel, home goods, baby products and everyday essentials. The lower prices will be available in stores and online throughout the spring.
“Busy families are thinking about value as they begin to update their homes and wardrobes for spring,” said Cara Sylvester, executive VP and chief merchandising officer, Target.
“We’re delivering by lowering prices on 3000 spring favorites across apparel, essentials and home. We’re committed to making it easier than ever for guests to have the fresh style and incredible value they love, with lower prices on the items we know they want.”
The latest reductions build on thousands of price cuts the company introduced in 2025 as part of its strategy to strengthen its value proposition amid cautious consumer spending.
Target said the move is intended to make it easier for shoppers to refresh their wardrobes and homes for the season while keeping everyday costs manageable.
The pricing move comes shortly after Target outlined plans to invest more than $2 billion this year to support growth.
The investment will include around $1 billion for new stores and remodels, and another $1 billion to improve the customer experience, including merchandising, technology, and pricing initiatives.
