Starbird to open 17 stores in Washington in new franchise deal

Starbird has partnered with Mehta Investment Group to bring 17 new locations to Washington, with the first locations to be opened next year.

The expansion includes 15 stores in Seattle and two in Spokane.

“We’re excited to introduce Starbird to Washington and share its chef-crafted menu and elevated guest experience with the communities we serve,” said Vin Mehta, principal of Mehta Investment Group.

“We’re confident they’ll (Mehta Investment Group) establish Starbird as a beloved brand in Washington and help us continue setting a new standard in fast food,” said Aaron Noveshen, founder and CEO of Starbird.

The new agreement Starbird’s announcement to open seven stores in Denver in partnership with Whiplash Holdings, marking the chicken fast food chain’s first expansion outside of California.

Starbird’s franchise opportunities are available in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Illinois, and Florida.

The company said it is actively seeking multi-unit operators interested in area development commitments of five stores over three years.
