At a time when global food challenges are becoming increasingly complex, encompassing innovation, sustainability and new consumer expectations, one event stands out as a true catalyst for transformation: Sial Paris 2026.

From October 17 to 21, the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre will host an edition that is already shaping up to be the most ambitious in the show’s history. More than just a trade event, Sial Paris is cementing its role as an essential strategic platform for understanding, anticipating and accelerating the global agri-food business.

A highly international show

Building on the record success of its 2024 edition, the trade fair is reaching new heights. With 95 per cent of its exhibition space already booked six months before the opening, Sial Paris 2026 is demonstrating exceptional commercial momentum. Nearly 8000 exhibitors are expected, representing the entire food value chain, to welcome around 295,000 professionals from all over the world. Spread across more than 280,000sqm and 10 major sectors, market players will have the opportunity to discover a rich, diverse and resolutely forward-looking range of products and services.

This appeal is based in large part on a particularly strong international presence. Italy, Spain, Turkey, Greece, and France are already among the most heavily represented countries, reflecting the active participation of major exporting nations. Added to this is the growing prominence of numerous product categories: While traditional segments such as groceries, meat, and fruits and vegetables are nearly fully represented, other categories such as confectionery, frozen foods, and beverages are experiencing strong growth, helping to refresh the trade show’s overall offering.

Innovation at the heart of strategy

But what truly sets Sial Paris apart is its unwavering commitment to innovation. In 2026, innovation will take center stage more than ever before. The Sial Innovation program, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, is reinventing itself with an enhanced immersive approach. Now partnered with Sial Taste, it places tasting at the heart of the experience, allowing visitors to see, understand, and taste the food trends of tomorrow. It’s a concrete way to capture evolving consumer habits and preferences.

Innovation will also be driven by a strong presence of startups, with more than 650 young companies expected to attend, including approximately 150 gathered in a dedicated space. Serving as a true springboard for emerging projects, this space will highlight the disruptive solutions that are redefining the industry. Thanks to a dedicated pitch stage, these startups will benefit from increased visibility among investors, buyers, and potential partners, thereby fostering synergies and growth opportunities.

Inspiration, insight and thought leadership

Beyond the exhibition, Sial Paris positions itself as a true hub for inspiration and reflection. Through the Sial Summit and Sial Talks programs, international experts, researchers, and decision-makers will come together to analyze the major shifts taking place in the sector. Key topics to be addressed include: Food systems by 2030, integrating food sovereignty and climate challenges; the impact of data and artificial intelligence on production chains; and the evolution of consumer expectations, balancing health, pleasure and hyper-personalization.

In the same vein, the Sial for Change initiative will reinforce the trade show’s commitment to social responsibility. By highlighting sustainable innovations, promoting best practices, and supporting talent through initiatives such as Sial Jobs, the trade show affirms its leading role in the agri-food sector’s transition toward more responsible models.

An enhanced business experience

Designed to be both efficient and user-friendly, Sial Paris 2026 also leverages innovative tools to maximize business opportunities. An AI-powered matchmaking platform will facilitate targeted connections between exhibitors and buyers. A new meet and match space, a redesigned business lounge, and speed-meeting sessions will round out this offering, providing an environment conducive to meaningful exchanges and strategic partnerships.

Finally, visitors will be able to enhance their experience with Sial Guided Tours – thematic tours led by experts – allowing them to explore specific segments of the show and optimize their visit.

More than ever, Sial Paris stands out as the must-attend event for all stakeholders seeking to decipher trends, grow their business, and actively participate in transforming the global food system. There is still time to join this exceptional edition and take part in the event that is shaping the future of food.
