Fashion and lifestyle brand Nicole Miller is expanding further into home furnishings through a new licensing partnership with homewares manufacturer JLA Home.

The deal will bring the brand into hard-home categories, including accent furniture, upholstered seating, case goods, decorative lighting, mirrors and framed wall art.

A preview of the collection will be held at Fall High Point Market from October 17 to 21 at JLA Home’s showroom at IHFC D319. The full range is expected to be showcased at the Las Vegas Market.

The partnership builds on Nicole Miller’s existing home business, extending its fashion-led design aesthetic into furniture and decor. The collection draws on the brand’s use of print, colour, texture and pattern.

JLA Home will handle product development, sourcing and production, while Nicole Miller will provide creative direction and brand input.

“I’ve always believed that great design should extend beyond what we wear and into how we live,” said Nicole Miller, founder and designer.

“The partnership with JLA Home gives me a new canvas to explore the elements that have always inspired me: bold prints, unexpected color, texture, and a modern sensibility. I’m excited for people to experience the collection in their own homes with pieces that feel elevated, distinctive and, most importantly, livable.”

For JLA Home, the deal adds a fashion brand to its hard-home portfolio at a time when licensed names continue to provide retailers with differentiated product ranges.
