British luxury men’s fashion retailer Dunhill has appointed Matthew Ives as its CEO, effective October 13. He will report to Phillipe Fortunato, CEO of Richemont’s fashion and accessories maisons.
“I am delighted to be joining Dunhill and working alongside creative director Simon Holloway to strengthen its position as the leading British masculine luxury maison,” said Ives.
Ives spent 10 years in senior leadership roles at Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels within Richemont. Prior to his new role as CEO of Dunhill, Ives spent three years as senior VP and CCO at De Beers in London.
“Matthew’s deep knowledge of both the luxury industry and Richemont will be invaluable in leading Dunhill into its next chapter,” said Fortunato.
“I would also like to warmly thank Andrew Holmes, Dunhill’s COO and CFO, for serving as CEO ad interim since early 2024.”
