Middle Eastern fast-casual restaurant chain Naf Naf Grill has launched its first California location in Barstow, marking the sixth opening in partnership with Love’s, an American family-owned travel company.
Located at the Love’s rest stop off Interstate 15, the restaurant offers the chain’s signature menu, including the award-winning shawarma, hand-shaped falafel, baked pitas, and hummus.
The location opens daily and provides both local customers and travelers with dine-in and takeout options.
“California is the perfect location for our first restaurant in the West, and we are excited to introduce our signature Middle Eastern flavors to this vibrant community,” said Greg Willman, chairman and CEO of Naf Naf Grill.
In March, Naf Naf Grill signed a deal with franchise operator Roma Patel, owner of Smoothie Cafe across the US, to open four locations in the Columbus area. The chain is headquartered in Chicago and operates 39 restaurants nationwide.
Earlier this month, LA-based restaurant chain Sweetgreen announced its plans to debut in Northwest Arkansas.
