M&M’s adds Cookie Dough flavour to its candy lineup

M&M’s has unveiled its newest flavour – Cookie Dough – which combines milk chocolate with traditional cookie dough housed in M&M’s’ traditional candy shell.

The new flavour is one of the latest innovations out of Mars Wrigley’s Ballarat Innovation Hub, following the company’s $25.5 million investment in its operations this year.

Ben Hill, MD for Mars Wrigley, said the company’s investment in Ballarat has been focused on bolstering its chocolate and candy-making capabilities.

“We’re seeing a rise in consumers wanting not only flavour variations from their favourite snacks and treats but textural experiences as well,” said Hill.

“Our new M&M’s Cookie Dough houses a real cookie dough centre in the heart of an M&M – a textural experience that we know Aussies will love.”

M&M’s Cookie Dough will be available alongside the full range of M&M’s products, including Milk Chocolate, Peanut, Crispy, Coconut, Mocha Mudcake, and Brownie.

It will be sold at a recommended retail price of $5.50 and will be available for purchase next year at Coles, Woolworths, leading independent retailers, and convenience stores.
