Lady Gaga has assumed the role of CEO of her beauty brand, Haus Labs, effective immediately.

This appointment comes after the departure of co-founder and former CEO Ben Jones earlier this month.

Jones was previously appointed as the chief digital officer of The Honest Company, founded by Jessica Alba, for nearly two years, and also held leadership roles in the video game industry before joining Haus Labs.

Lady Gaga first used the ‘Haus Laboratories’ trademark back in 2012 when collaborating with Coty to release her debut fragrance, Fame Eau de Parfum.

In addition to her ongoing responsibilities in creative direction and product development since the brand’s launch in 2019, Gaga will now also oversee the brand’s commercial operations.

“Ben and I started Haus Labs together eight years ago, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built. I’m excited to take on a more active role in the company and work alongside our talented team to build on what we’ve accomplished,” Gaga told The Business of Beauty in an exclusive statement.

Originally launched in 2019 as an exclusive on Amazon, Haus Labs was later rebranded as Haus Labs by Lady Gaga and underwent a significant relaunch with Sephora in 2022.
