L’Occitane has introduced its latest store innovation at a Manhattan boutique, with a storefront rebuilt inspired by the company’s birthplace, Provence.

The 891sqft store, located in the Central Park West Historic District, is one of the five new concept boutiques slated to open in the Tri-state area this autumn. The other four locations include a new boutique in Belmont Village (Long Island) and renovated stores on Madison Avenue (NYC), Newark International Airport (NJ) and Short Hills (NJ).

“We are very excited to expand our presence in New York City through the opening of this boutique, in the heart of such an iconic neighborhood,” says Yann Tanini, MD of L’Occitane North America.

“This store offers a distinctive experience, immersing visitors in the essence of L’Occitane’s origins. It encapsulates everything that makes our brand exceptional – the sense of community, the rich heritage of Provence, and the passionate people who bring our products to life.”

In addition to its product offerings, the store provides mini-facials, relaxing hand massages, and skin analysis using a skin scanner.

In April, L’Occitane Group sold its entire stake in Australian skincare brand Grown Alchemist for 28 million euros (US$30 million) to Lavender Investments owned by Andre Hoffmann, former vice chairman and CEO of L’Occitane International.
