Music instrument retailer Gibson will open its Gibson Garage flagship store in London on February 24, its first site outside of the US.
The store has 4500sqft of retail space and offers more than 300 electric and acoustic guitars from Gibson, Gibson Custom, Gibson Acoustic, Epiphone, and Kramer brands.
Music fans can design their own Made-to-Measure guitar inside the Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab by selecting a guitar top from the wall and customizing the interior and exterior specifications.
“The Garage is designed to be a part of the London music community with a live stage featuring performances, and events from icons and emerging artists on any given day,” said Cesar Gueikian, president and CEO of Gibson Brands
“It’s also an exciting place to experience music and lifestyle through Gibson instruments, sound, media, and apparel. We hope the Gibson Garage will have a dramatic impact on the London music scene in addition to becoming a must-see destination.”
In addition, Gibson Garage London has an acoustic guitar room featuring one of the largest displays of Gibson Acoustic guitars in the UK, as well as spaces for Epiphone electric, acoustic, and bass guitars, and the largest exhibition of Kramer guitars in the UK.
Customers can also try out Gibson apparel, gifts, and lifestyle items, as well as gear and accessories.
