Mexican food retailer Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is looking to expand across Arizona and Texas after securing two multi-unit development agreements.
The agreements will bring 40 new restaurants to the market over the next eight years, demonstrating the brand’s development potential.
Marc Rogers, a Fuzzy’s Taco Shop franchisee, has inked a deal to open 15 new stores in Arizona and the Phoenix area by 2032. Rogers Restaurant Group debuted its first Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in Fort Collins, Colorado, in 2011, and now runs 16 Fuzzy’s restaurants throughout the state.
“Fuzzy’s has transformed from a single neighbourhood taco shop with a chill vibe in Fort Worth, Texas into an emerging, nationally franchised concept with an exceptional bar program and a Baja-inspired menu that our guests have come to crave,” said Paul Damico, president of Fuzzy’s Taco Shop.
Hnreck Nazarian of Nazarian Global Enterprises (NGE) will become Fuzzy’s Taco Shop’s newest franchisee, opening 25 new stores in the Houston, Texas region over the next seven years.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is one of the largest taco businesses, with approximately 130 stores open in 18 states.
