Healthcare apparel brand Figs has opened its second retail store, the Rittenhouse Community Hub, on Walnut Street in Philadelphia.

The new 4200sqft store covers two floors and is four times bigger than its first community hub in Los Angeles.

The new shop also has an embroidery workshop and a mezzanine with a lounge and cafe.

The company noted that Philadelphia has the fourth-highest number of healthcare professionals in the US, making it a good spot to open a community hub.

“Figs exists to help healthcare professionals look good, feel good, and perform at their best, thereby transforming the experience of being a healthcare professional,” said Trina Spear, Figs CEO and co-founder.

“To deliver on that, we believe that an omnichannel experience – both online and offline – is the future.”

Since the opening of the Los Angeles hub last November, Figs has generated over 40 per cent of sales from customers who are new to the brand.
