Uber and Costco have expanded their delivery partnership, bringing on-demand and scheduled Costco delivery via Uber Eats to 47 states.
The multi-state expansion broadens coverage from an initial 17 states to include nearly 600 Costco warehouse locations nationwide.
Under the agreement, Costco members can purchase fresh produce, bulk groceries, household goods, and exclusive items directly through the Uber Eats application.
Shoppers can link their active Costco membership account at checkout to access member pricing and order real-time delivery.
Andrew Macdonald, president and COO at Uber, said expanding the partnership nationwide gives Costco members additional channels to access inventory.
The US rollout is part of a broader global partnership between the two companies, which already includes active Uber Eats operations in Canada, Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, France, and Spain.
In July, Uber agreed to acquire Delivery Hero in a deal valued at approximately $14.8 billion.
