Inditex will open the first physical Bershka stores in the US this year, marking a milestone for the Spanish youth-focused fashion brand as it moves beyond online-only operations in the market.
CEO Óscar García Maceiras confirmed the plans during the group’s latest earnings call last month, saying Bershka will open two stores in the Miami area after strong online performance in the US.
“The US is a very relevant market for us, and we continue to see opportunities to keep on executing our strategy of selective growth in that market,” said García Maceiras. “2026 will also be full of new, exciting projects.”
Founded in 1998, Bershka targets a young, fashion-forward audience and currently operates 854 stores across 68 markets worldwide.
Inditex has been expanding its physical footprint across the country. Last year, the group opened flagship Zara stores at The Grove in Los Angeles and at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and entered its 26th US state with a new store in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is also reopening its refurbished Zara store on Newbury Street in downtown Boston.
Further investments are planned for this year, including a flagship store at 400 Post Street in San Francisco and a major refurbishment of Zara’s Fifth Avenue location in New York.
