Bafang Dumpling plans to open stores in Texas this year, bolstering the Taiwan-based dumpling chain’s expansion into the US market despite the US tariffs dispute.
As part of the chain’s international expansion in the south-central region, including California and Texas, a new headquarters will open later this year.
Bafang Dumpling has expanded to thousands of stores in Taiwan, as well as locations in Hong Kong and the US. It is expected to open its 12th store in Arcadia next month, expanding its footprint on the West Coast.
In 2022, Bafang Dumpling exited the Chinese market and initially entered the US market by establishing its presence in the City of Industry, California. Last year, the company reported consolidated revenue of $268.38 million, representing a 9.37 per cent increase.
