Scrubs & Beyond is closing all of its brick-and-mortar stores, bringing an end to the healthcare apparel’s operations after more than two decades in business.
The company operates more than 100 stores across 30 states.
A notice on its website simply states, “All Retail Stores Closing,” without providing a reason for the shutdown.
Scrubs & Beyond sells medical apparel and accessories, including nurse scrubs, footwear, and uniforms from brands such as Grey’s Anatomy, Cherokee, Healing Hands, and its private-label Beyond Scrubs collection.
According to Fox News, many locations have begun going-out-of-business sales, with discounts ranging from 20 per cent to 40 per cent.
Arizona-based Kindthread acquired and relaunched the Scrubs & Beyond brand and store network in 2022. The company shifted its operations from digital to physical in March.
Established in 2000, the retailer has grown to become the largest specialty retailer of healthcare apparel and accessories in the country.
