Chicken chain Zaxbys is opening its first Las Vegas dine-in and drive-through restaurant on April 22.

The opening of the new Zaxbys store is a part of its wider growth plan on a national and regional scale.

“Las Vegas is just the beginning of Zaxbys expansion plans as we aim to open our 1000th store in 2025,” said chief development officer Mike Mettler.

“We are thrilled to continue to build relationships with new franchisee partners and bring Zaxbys to additional growing markets, including Arizona, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Maryland, and more.”

Zaxbys is working with Las Vegas company AJB General Contractor to bring additional locations to the city.

An opening ceremony planned for April 22 will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, and remarks from Zaxbys CEO Bernard Acoca, Mettler, and franchisee owner Royce Chow.

When the restaurant opens, customers will be able to order ahead on Zaxbys.com or on the Zaxbys app for curbside pickup. Delivery options will include DoorDash, GrubHub and Uber Eats.
