American lifestyle brand Gant has announced the appointment of Fredrik Malm as its new CEO.

Malm, who started his new role on December 1, joined Gant in 2024 as the executive VP for commercial, brand, and product. He succeeds Patrik Söderström after a six-year tenure.

“Having joined the house in September 2024, Fredrik has brought valuable and extensive leadership experience from global premium fashion and lifestyle brands, including senior roles at Ralph Lauren and Coach,” Thierry Guibert, CEO of MF Brands Group, said.

“I have full confidence in his ability to support Gant in its next phase of development, which will notably involve the continued elevation of the collections and an accelerated retailization across both physical and digital channels.”

Before joining Gant, Malm served as CEO of Swedish brand Sneakers n Stuff (SNS), held the position of president for Europe and International at Coach, president of sales for EMEA at Ralph Lauren, and retail director at Ecco.

Guibert added: “I would also like to deeply thank Patrik Söderström for his commitment alongside us over the past 10 years. He has played a pivotal role in transforming and elevating the brand while delivering strong financial performances over the years.”
