Property group Simon has opened the first Premium Outlets Mall in Indonesia, located in Tangerang, near the western edge of Jakarta.

Inspired by the country’s archipelago, the shopping centre spans 302,000sqft and incorporates design elements such as lush greenery, water features, and shaded walkways.

The outlet features more than 150 international and local brands, such as Bally, Boss, Coach, Furla, Lacoste, Longchamp, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Kenzo, Versace, Swarovski, Tumi, and The North Face.

Sporting brands include the first Adidas outlet store in Indonesia – the largest in Southeast Asia – alongside Nike, Converse, Hoka, Puma, New Balance, Reebok, Skechers, and Under Armour.

The centre also offers various international dining options.

Jakarta Premium Outlets is located in the Alam Sutera Township CBD, with access to major transportation routes. The Jakarta–Merak Toll Road connects to Central Jakarta, while the Kunciran-Serpong Toll Road provides direct access to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

Mark Silvestri, president of development at Simon, said the new outlet aligns with the company’s international growth strategy.

“We aim to offer shoppers exceptional value for the most sought-after brands while honouring Indonesia’s vibrant character,” he added.

Simon operates various outlet shopping destinations worldwide, including Woodbury Common Premium Outlets in New York, Desert Hills Premium Outlets in California, and Gotemba Premium Outlets in Tokyo.
