Pininfarina Hybrid Smartwatches by Globics has selected The Perennial Group as its North American distributor for its first collection, Senso, which was introduced last year.
According to the brand, this collaboration represents “a strategic alignment” between the two firms and will bring Pininfarina timepieces to consumers across the US and Canada.
The companies aim to provide luxury and functionality in the wearable technology sector, with plans for market penetration and brand expansion underway.
Founded in 2014, the Perennial Group has a portfolio of brands that includes Jensen, Studebaker, Black & Decker, iHome, LifeStraw, Litheli, and U-tec/Ultraloq.
Globics Technology, a Hong Kong-based National Electronics subsidiary, has inked a license agreement to market hybrid and smartwatches under the Italian vehicle design firm Pininfarina in 2022.
