Chinese lifestyle brand Miniso will open a store at Pacific Commons Shopping Center in Fremont on January 17, expanding the retailer’s footprint in Northern California.
The new store will span more than 12000sqft, making it Miniso’s biggest location in the Bay Area to date. The opening reflects the brand’s continued growth in the region as demand increases for value-driven, design-focused merchandise across multiple categories.
The Fremont store will carry thousands of items, including home goods, beauty products, stationery, toys, and tech accessories.
The wide assortment is expected to attract a broad customer base, from families to younger shoppers, while complementing the center’s existing lineup of national retailers.
“The opening of Miniso’s largest Bay Area store at Pacific Commons is an exciting moment for our center and for the Fremont community,” said Toni Marcos, property manager for Pacific Commons.
“This new store brings fresh energy, accessibility, and global style to Pacific Commons, creating another reason for families, shoppers, and visitors to gather, explore, and enjoy everything the center has to offer.”
The launch is part of Miniso’s plan to accelerate its market expansion, which also included a limited-time pop-up series across the US in September.
Pacific Commons, managed by Phoenix-based Vestar, is located off Interstate 880 at Auto Mall Parkway. It is home to more than 55 restaurants and stores, including Target, Costco, Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, and Sephora.
