Mickey Thompson Tires and Wheels – a subsidiary of Goodyear Tires – has opened its first retail store worldwide in Shanghai. The move is part of the company’s global expansion and follows the recent launch of its product lines in China last year.

Founded in 1963, Mickey Thompson is known for producing high-performance off-road tyres designed for extreme conditions.

In addition to selling vehicle products and accessories, the new Mickey Thompson store will host gatherings, local races, and workshops, fostering engagement with the country’s off-road community.

Justin Foley, MD of Goodyear Greater China, noted that China’s SUV market is poised for rapid expansion, making the opening of the Mickey Thompson store perfectly timed.

“We will continue to expand our product offerings, providing a comprehensive range of off-road tyre solutions to meet the diverse needs of consumers,” he added.
