US-based pizza chain Marco’s Pizza has signed development agreements with renowned entrepreneur Marcel Clarke to open three new outlets in Virginia

Site selection is currently underway in Bristow, Haymarket, Centreville, and other areas, with the first facility slated to open in the second quarter of next year.

“We are thrilled to welcome Marcel to our franchise family with this three-store agreement,” said Gerardo Flores, chief development officer of Marco’s Pizza.

“He embodies the entrepreneurial spirit and passion that aligns perfectly with our brand values. We are confident that this partnership will significantly contribute to our continued growth across the state. We look forward to seeing Marcel lead this next wave of development.”

According to Marco’s Pizza, multi-unit franchise development is the brand’s primary expansion strategy. Nearly half of Marco’s existing franchise network consists of multi-unit operators.

Marco’s Pizza, founded in 1978, is now one of the fastest-growing pizza businesses in the US. The brand operates 1200 outlets in 35 states, with stores in Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, and Mexico.
