Convenience store owner and operator Majors Management has completed its acquisition of 35 Circle K fuel and convenience stores from Alimentation Couche-Tard.
The move comes after the Federal Trade Commission ordered these divestitures to maintain a competitive market.
The sites, acquired across Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania, will be rebranded as Mapco stores, offering customers grab-and-go meals, fresh coffee, fuel, and exclusive savings and rewards through the company’s MyRewards loyalty program.
“These stores are an exciting strategic addition for Majors Management, and we are thrilled to expand the Mapco brand into Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania,” said Ben Smith, president of Majors Management.
“We are honored to serve customers in three new states and welcome them to the Mapco experience.”
The company will retain existing employees where possible and invest in upgrading facilities.
