Hysan Place Developments’ latest shopping centre, Lee Garden Three, has opened its doors, with a raft of new retailers launching progressively over coming weeks.
Described as a “premium multi-use commercial building” the building features a 100,000sqft retail podium beneath 20 storeys of office space. It will officially open later in this quarter.
The tenant mix includes high-end restaurants, Starbucks Hong Kong’s first full flagship store, homewares retailers and fashion boutiques.
“As Causeway Bay’s up-and-coming landmark, Lee Garden Three will hold particular appeal for enthusiasts of work-life balance, as well as millennials driven by the pursuit of innovation, splendour, and technology,” said a Hysan Place Developments spokesperson.
One of the first tenants to open its doors was Danish furniture and homewares brand BoConcept, selling Scandinavian designed products and featuring the brand’s first concept cafe in Hong Kong.
The newly opened Tavolo Kids Living store sells imported European and Japanese furniture. It marks the brand’s debut in Causeway Bay and features multifunctional, growth-accommodating designs for bookcases, bookshelves, desks, tables and chairs for toddlers and children.
Local lifestyle retailer Homeless will open a branch at Lee Garden Three, selling more than 300 furniture, lighting and gift brands.
And Norwegian furniture brand Stressless will also open a store, specialising in chairs which blent traditional artistry into modern design and function.
KitchenAid flagship
Global home appliance brand KitchenAid will launch its first Hong Kong flagship store at Lee Garden Three in mid-June. The 2000sqft store will house interactive experiences, promising “a sensational symphony of taste, smell, hearing, and touch”.
Another kitchen-focused brand is Sub-Zero & Wolf, founded in 1945 in the US, a high-end refrigeration and cooking specialist. Its new 2000sqft store will be among the first to launch the SRT-Wok and Wolf Gourmet series globally, coinciding with the US and British markets.
And Fendi Cucine is opening its first Hong Kong store at Lee Garden Three. The Italian kitchenware and interior design store offers a range of kitchen cabinets, dining tables, chairs, and decorations.
Food and fashion
I.T Group will open a multi-brand fashion house at Lee Garden Three, ranging classic labels from Japan and American West Coast street brands.
On the food size, Tokyo’s A Happy Pancake shop, from Omotesando, will be serving its made-to-order fluffy pancakes.
For more serious fare, Iberico Ham shop Reserva Iberica from Barcelona will introduce its culinary ABC concept and the Starbucks flagship will incorporate the territory’s first standalone Teavana counter.
