Luxury fashion house Lalique has opened its first store in New York, which spans five stories inside the Chopard Mansion on the Upper East Side.
The “Maison d’Artiste” location seeks to become an artistic hub, a friendly venue that encourages cooperation and interaction, as well as a place to celebrate artistry and share creative ideas.
There are spaces including Veranda d’Essences, Salon d’Exploration, Jewelry Salon and Bar & Lounge.
The Salon d’Exploration is an area that showcases Lalique’s most recent collections, while on the second floor, customers can visit the Jewellery Salon, which displays crystal jewellery collections.
The Veranda d’Essences, which faces the second floor’s bright windows, displays Lalique’s handcrafted perfumes and home fragrances.
The third story houses Lalique’s largest art gallery to date. The space honors unusual concepts and collaborations with internationally known artists and designers. The fourth floor features the Bar & Lounge and the first Lalique Interior Design Studio outside of Paris.
“With the launch of this new flagship, we are crafting more than a retail space – we are creating a unique journey into the heart of Lalique,” said Silvio Denz, executive chairman of Lalique Group.
“We are thrilled to offer both our valued clients and a new generation of collectors an inspiring experience that celebrates Lalique‘s lifestyle and beauty.”
