PVH Corp-owned Calvin Klein has appointed Ayub Mohamed as its new chief product officer, effective January 25.

In his new role, Mohamed will lead the brand’s global product organisation, including design and merchandising, focusing on execution and product strategy across multiple regions and categories.

He will join the brand’s global leadership team and report directly to global brand president David Savman.

With more than two decades of industry experience, Mohamed was previously EVP of product at Lacoste. His executive experience also includes chief merchandising officer at Kenzo, as well as leadership roles at Tory Burch, Donna Karan/DKNY, Givenchy, and Levi Strauss & Co.

“Ayub is an accomplished global product leader with a deep understanding of how to translate a brand’s creative identity into desirable product that drives both consumer relevance and commercial impact,” said Savman.

“We see significant opportunity to leverage the strength of Calvin Klein’s iconic brand DNA across categories and markets. Ayub’s end-to-end product expertise, deep understanding of the marketplace and global perspective will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our offering and unlock the full potential of the brand,” he added.
