LVMH-backed L Catterton has made a strategic investment in Glance, an AI-powered personal shopping platform operated by global technology company InMobi.

As artificial intelligence (AI) reshapes how consumers discover and purchase products, the investment builds on L Catterton’s extensive research into these changing behaviours and reflects its confidence in Glance’s potential to shape the future of shopping.

Powered by agentic AI, the platform is well-positioned to capitalize on this evolution by tapping into consumers’ interests and preferences to recommend relevant, personalized products.

Integrated across smartphones, connected TVs and other digital environments, Glance engages shoppers throughout the journey, from inspiration and discovery to purchase, combining a differentiated consumer proposition with broad reach across the screens they use.

“Agentic commerce is fundamentally changing how consumers discover and shop for products, creating significant opportunities for brands that can make the journey more personal, intuitive, and engaging,” said Scott Dahnke, global CEO of L Catterton.

“We look forward to bringing L Catterton’s deep consumer expertise, operating capabilities, and global network to our partnership with Glance as the company realizes its significant growth potential.”

Glance is already available on millions of devices nationwide through partnerships with Samsung and DirecTV, extending its reach across more of the moments when consumers engage with digital content throughout the day.

“L Catterton is one of the most respected investment firms in the consumer space, with an extraordinary track record of identifying and building category-defining brands,” said Naveen Tewari, founder and CEO of InMobi and Glance.

“Their decision to back Glance is a validation of the shopping model we’ve created and our belief that the future of commerce will move beyond search toward agentic shopping.”
