American household appliance brand KitchenAid has opened a flagship Experience Store at Lee Garden Three in Hong Kong’s Causeway Bay.
The KitchenAid Hong Kong store is the second in Asia following the concept’s regional launch in Korea.
The 2000sqft location stocks the brand’s established range of small appliances as well as its recently released major household appliances. A key feature of the store is its working kitchen, designed to demonstrate products in a genuine setting, accompanied by the aromas and flavours of actual food preparation.
Italian chef Daniele Paralovo was on-site to host a “feast for the senses” to celebrate the store’s opening, along with stylist Alistair Rae who performed a live cooking demonstration showcasing food-themed hair accessories.
A striking stand mixer display was of particular relevance – the brand’s story originates from the 1908 invention of the appliance by Herbert Johnson, an engineer on staff.
