Go Global Retail has settled the acquisition of the premium maternity brand Hatch Collection through its Janie and Jack business.

Founded in 2011 by Ariane Goldman, Hatch Collection offers fashion, skincare, content, and community support for women during pregnancy and motherhood. The brand operates a flagship e-commerce platform and two retail stores in New York, along with wholesale partnerships with more than 200 retailers.

“The acquisition of Hatch perfectly aligns with our strategy of expanding our portfolio for the modern mom,” said Jeff Streader, founder and managing partner of Go Global Retail. “By integrating Hatch into our brand family, we aim to enhance the overall customer experience while positioning ourselves for future growth.”

Go Global said the deal represents a strategic follow-on acquisition to the purchase of children’s fashion label Janie and Jack, which was acquired from Gap Inc in 2021.

Janie and Jack, which has 120 stores nationwide, will continue to operate from its headquarters in San Francisco following the acquisition, while Hatch will maintain its base in New York.

Hatch’s editorial platform – Babe – will continue to provide content, education, events, and support for its community.

The transaction was financed through Janie and Jack Holdings and a senior secured credit facility from MidCap Financial. Other financial details were not disclosed.
