German luxury brand Willy Bogner has named Arne Freundt as CEO, effective next month, and will oversee the company’s strategic direction alongside the existing management team.

Freundt joins Willy Bogner after 14 years at Puma, where he held several leadership roles, including chief commercial officer, MD of the brand’s EMEA region, and, most recently, CEO.

The appointment follows Katjes Quiet Luxury GmbH’s acquisition of a majority stake in Bogner last year.

Prior to the transaction, the CEO position had remained vacant as part of the company’s planned ownership transition.

“Bogner stands for luxury sportswear, premium quality, and a distinctive alpine heritage,” Freundt said.

“I look forward to helping shape the brand’s next chapter and strengthening its position as a global luxury brand.”
