Etsy has appointed Kruti Patel Goyal in the newly created role of president and chief growth officer, effective in the first week of January.
Goyal is currently CEO of Etsy subsidiary Depop, a platform where people can buy and sell affordable secondhand fashion.
Goyal will continue as acting CEO of Depop through April next year.
Etsy has also appointed Lanny Baker as CFO, succeeding Rachel Glaser, who had earlier announced her intention to retire.
Baker is currently the COO of Eventbrite, where she also worked as CFO, while Glaser will remain with Etsy as an advisor through June 30.
Moreover, Etsy appointed Brad Minor as chief brand officer, succeeding Raina Moskowitz, who is set to depart from the company.
Etsy has yet to name a successor for outgoing chief technology officer Rachana Kumar.
In October, Etsy said its gross merchandise sales dropped 4.1 per cent to $2.9 billion for the third quarter, which management attributed to challenging market conditions.
