The Estée Lauder Companies’ global brand president of La Mer and Skin Care Brands, Sandra Main, will retire on December 31, wrapping up a 30-year career with the business.

Main joined The Estée Lauder Companies in 1995 and advanced through leadership roles across several of the group’s global cosmetics brands.

During her three decades with the business, she played a pivotal role in brand strategy, product development, and market expansion within key prestige beauty categories, the company said in an announcement. Most notably, she led the high-end La Mer line and the broader skin care portfolio in her final executive position.

Initially directing international operations for MAC across Asia Pacific and other global markets, Main later held the position of SVP and GM of Bobbi Brown International.

She began her career at La Mer as SVP and GM in 2009, then rose to global brand president for both La Mer and Bobbi Brown in 2011.

Main will remain in her current role through the end of the year to assist with the executive transition and ongoing brand operations. 

The Estée Lauder Companies plans to announce successor leadership for the La Mer and skin care divisions before her departure.

Last month, Estée Lauder Companies said it is entering FY27 with renewed confidence after returning to growth across its portfolio.
