Los Angeles-founded brunch concept Eggslut is set to launch its first Canadian location in Toronto on April 30.

Located on King Street West, the store is part of the brand’s planned rollout in Canada, with a second Toronto location at Yonge and Dundas set to open this summer, in partnership with Westrich Hospitality, Eggslut’s Canadian franchise partner.

While the brand maintains international operations in the US, the UK, Japan, and Australia, the Canadian locations will be entirely locally run. The expansion strategy emphasizes a regional supply chain, sourcing ingredients from Ontario-based producers.

The restaurant continues to present its tightly focused, chef-led menu, along with the brand’s fan-favourite items, including The Fairfax and The Slut, the company said.

“Eggslut started with a simple idea: Take something familiar and make it exceptional,” said Andy Lee, co-owner of Eggslut.

“From a food truck in Los Angeles to a global following, we’ve stayed focused on quality, consistency, and intention. Toronto is a city that truly shows up for food, and we’re excited to introduce Eggslut to the market and let the food speak for itself.”
