David’s Bridal has made new key leadership appointments after Cion Investment Corporation completed the acquisition of the assets of the company.
The company appointed Kelly Cook as president of brand, technology, and finance, and Nancy Viall as president of merchandising and supply chain.
It also named Bob Walker as COO, Rob Cooper as CFO, and Andrea Dauphinee as chief resources officer.
In July, Cion closed the acquisition of all of the assets of David’s Bridal and assumed its certain bankruptcy-related liabilities, allowing the company to continue operations at up to 195 stores and preserve 7000 jobs across the US.
Cion invested $20 million in David’s Bridal, while the Bank of America provided a $50 million revolving credit facility and a $20 million term loan facility.
“Brides turn to us during one of the most important moments of their lives, and our incredible leadership team ensures our organization is ready to meet our customers’ every need. Kelly, Nancy, Bob, Rob, and Andrea are exceptional leaders with the strategic acumen to guide David’s into its next era of success,” said Jim Marcum, CEO at David’s Bridal.
“They have played key roles throughout the past few years, helping us navigate the pandemic, its aftereffects, and positioning us for the future as we continue to help make dreams come true.”
