Brinker International has extended its annual growth streak, finishing the last fiscal year with solid results driven by Chili’s strong performance.

The company’s sales for the year ended June 24 rose 7.7 per cent to $5.7 billion, with comparable restaurant sales up 8.1 per cent.

Chili’s was the primary driver of the growth, with comparable sales soaring 9.2 per cent for the year. This helped offset the 3.9 per cent drop at Maggiano’s.

For the fourth quarter, comparable sales increased 5 per cent, with Chili’s up 5.6 per cent and Maggiano’s down 2.5 per cent.

“Q4 2026 completes five consecutive years of Chili’s same-store sales growth, delivering an unprecedented 71 per cent cumulative increase over that time,” said Kevin Hochman, president and CEO of Brinker International.

“Our strong brand relevance, industry-leading value proposition, streamlined operations, and significant restaurant investments have created a competitive moat that positions Chili’s to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.”

On the bottom line, net income grew 22 per cent in the fourth quarter and 27 per cent for the full year.

The company expects revenues of $6.15 billion to $6.27 billion for FY27, which includes an additional operating week.
