The Cheesecake Factory has posted strong growth in sales and profit for the fourth quarter.
The company’s total revenues for the quarter ended December 31 rose 5 per cent to $912 million, while comparable restaurant sales were up 1.7 per cent.
Net income jumped 224 per cent to $41.15 million.
For the full year, revenues increased 4.1 per cent to $3.58 billion and net income grew 54.6 per cent to $157 million.
“Our fourth quarter performance capped off an excellent year, with solid revenue and earnings contributing to record annual revenue and substantially improved profitability for 2024,” said David Overton, chairman and CEO.
“We continued to capture market share, as demonstrated by the ongoing outperformance in comparable sales and traffic at The Cheesecake Factory restaurants versus the broader casual dining industry,” he added.
The company opened nine new restaurants during the quarter and 23 locations during the year. It ended the year with 352 restaurants throughout the US and Canada under brands including The Cheesecake Factory, North Italia, Flower Child and a collection of other FRC brands.
