Luxury fashion house Celine has opened a pop-up store in Shanghai’s upmarket shopping centre Plaza 66.
The brand has posted photos showing the pop-up store’s look on its Instagram. According to the company, the store and interior was designed by creative director Hedi Slimane, who is behind the brand’s flagship stores in Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai, Los Angeles, Madrid, Milan and London.
Located on the first floor of the shopping mall, the store features a palette of four colours – gold, black, gray and white, creating an opulent ambience to the store. Celine Plaza 66 is highlighted with bright neon light frames. The pop-up store features glass and metal elements for displays while using wooden chairs for decoration.
The store offers a wide range of women’s leather goods and accessories. It also houses a selection of Celine’s fragrances.
Owned by LVMH, Celine operates approximately 150 retail stores worldwide and is distributed through a selective network.
