Recreational vehicle dealer Camping World Holdings is set to acquire Travelcamp RV, which owns 12 dealership stores across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas.

The acquisition is expected to take effect over the next 90 days.

“We were attracted to Travelcamp’s focus on affordably priced RV segments, particularly with two top manufacturers. After closing, we anticipate these locations to be primarily stocked with either Thor or Forest River products,” said Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO at Camping World.

Seven of the 12 stores that will be acquired are based in Florida. One is based in Georgia, two in North Carolina, one in South Carolina, and one in Texas.

“We continue to be focused on our goal to increase our dealership count to over 320 locations over the next five years, through a combination of acquisitions, new store openings, and manufacturer exclusive locations,” said Lemonis.
