Australian underwear brand Step One enters US market

Australian underwear brand Step One has launched its first online store in the US, marking its entry into the American market.

Step One, known for its bamboo underwear, is partnering with Bub’s at the Ballpark in San Diego to distribute 10,000 free pairs of men’s underwear on September 23 as part of the launch.

The company is encouraging local residents and visitors to stop by the event to receive their free pair of underwear.

Step One’s underwear features elastic pouches for support, ultra-glide panels on the inner thighs to lessen friction, and moisture-wicking fabric made from bamboo-derived viscose.

“I didn’t want to make a product I wasn’t proud of, which is why I take sustainability very seriously and ensure that all of our products are ethically made,” said Greg Taylor, CEO at Step One.
